  • Added a new biome tag for biomes that give you the Irrdiated effect for being in them.
    • This mod by default has no biomes like this, however it's now here for anyone that would like to have it.
    • This uses the same calculation as checking around you for radioactive blocks, meaning it will happen even if you're just outside of the biome.
    • Having a full suit of hazmat armor (from other mods using the tag) will prevent you from being irradiated by the biome.

  • Fissile Cylinders are now radioactive items.

  • Added a new effect called Desolation Immunity.
    • This will prevent damage from the Irradiated and Radiation Poisoning effects.
    • It will also prevent the Irradiated overlay from appearing, instead showing another one that's hard to notice.
    • You will still take damage from a desolator explosion.
    • You can obtain it from a new potion, brewed with Awkward Potions and Sticky Goop.

  • Added a new item tag.
desolator_purpleshiny:armor_prevents_radiation_from_blocks_and_items
  • If every armor slot is filled with items in this tag, Ex: full hazmat armor, then being arround radioactive blocks and having radioactive items in your inventory will not irradiate you.
  • If you somehow become irradiated, then you will still take damage, as a suit would prevent breaches, not make you immune to it.

Wolves are no longer immune to radiation. This was done for testing but was never removed.

The desolator entity will no longer scale its model into negative numbers.

  • Added the Fissile Cylinder. It is now required to craft the desolator.
    • Other recipes were also slightly altered.

  • Fixed issues with the Irradiated effect.
    • Being attacked will no longer poison entities if they are immune to radiation.
    • Fixed the functionality of giving irradiated to entities you hit, and to entities that hit you, while you have irradiated. It did not work properly before, but now it does.

Now I can be proud of this mod again!!

  • Made multiple changes.

    • The nuke sphere model is a little better now.
    • It also now renders a sphere on top of it.
    • Lit desolators now have no air friction to mimic regular tnt entities.
    • Massively increased performance when exploding a desolator. Taking it from multiple minutes, to just a couple seconds.
    • All of the block calculations are now done only on the server side, meaning the game's FPS will not freeze up anymore when it explodes.
    • If you light a desolator yourself, then you will now be considered the owner of it. Literally everything in the blast will count as your kill.
    • Increased fog when you have the Irradiated effect.

  • Netherite is now immune to the blast.
  • Lighting or disabling a desolator will now calcel the event.
    • For instance, using flint and steel on the block would also light a fire, because you right clicked flint and steel on a block. It will no longer happen.
    • It will also no longer light or disable if you are sneaking.

  • Fixed when you try to disable a desolator it would do nothing and explode.
  • Entities that are immune to radiation will no longer get the effect while a desolator explodes, having a radioactive item, or being around a radioactive block.
    • They wouldn't take damage anyways, but now they will not recieve the effect either.

  • Added a new tag
desolator_purpleshiny:lights_desolator_noitemdamage
  • This is used for items that can light a desolator, but will not be consumed or damaged in the process. There are no items in this tag by default, but I thought someone might want something to act like that.

  • Added three new tags for items that can disable a lit desolator.

desolator_purpleshiny:disables_desolator_damage
desolator_purpleshiny:disables_desolator_consume
desolator_purpleshiny:disables_desolator_noitemdamage
  • By default they're all empty, except for the damage one which has shears.
