This mod adds a font based on the alphabet used by the robots from Stray, as well as 39 banner patterns based on its characters.
The font can be used by any JSON text (it has id strayfont:stray
), such as with the /tellraw
or /title
commands on in custom item names. If you have Bookshelf, you can also use the /bookshelf font
command for easy uses.
The font supports:
- All 26 latin letters A to Z (upper and lowercase are displayed the same),
- Arabic numerals 1 to 9 (not 0),
- Alternate variants of E, I, and P, mapped to é, è, î, and Þ (upper and lowercase are displayed the same).
- On Windows you can use alt codes
0233/0232/0238/0222
for lower case and0201/0200/0206/0254
for upper case. - Unicode hex code points are
u00E9/u00E8/u00EE/u00FE
for lower case andu00C9/u00C8/u00CE/u00DE
for upper case. - While in Stray there is a second alternate I, the resolution here is not high enough to distinguish it, so only one alternate is included.
- On Windows you can use alt codes
To get the banner patterns, craft the Banner Pattern item and use it in a Loom, as you would with any other. It is crafted with one each of Paper, Fish (any kind), and Redstone.
This was inspired by Darkhax's font mods, such as Runelic.
