In peace is a mod that adds more "natural" food, items, blocks, and effects to help out the player as a short of mini progression branch. Some items in this mod are mildly based on real native people things but also with my own slight spin.
Blocks
Wooden Totems
Will occasionaly heal nearby players when no monsters are nearby. Will also only work when close to seeing sunlight, so no totems in caves and houses but yes to them being near the top of totem poles.
Stone Totems
Exact same as wooden totems just stone and feeds nearby players instead.
Gunpowder Block
Made with 4 gunpowder in a square and can be blown up with flint and steel or fire charge, or with another explosion. Affected by gravity. Half as strong as regular tnt but explodes instantly.
Sticky Gunpowder Block
Made with 4 gunpowder on the middle edges and a slimeball in the middle or with a gunpowder block and a slimeball anywhere. Works the same as the gunpowder block just not affected by gravity.
Redstoned Gunpowder Block
Made with 4 gunpowder on the middle edges and redstone in the middle or with a gunpowder block and redstone anywhere. Works the same as the gunpowder block but can be exploded with power/redstone.
Plants
Poison Ivy
Spawns in pretty much all biomes kinda commonly (like 1 every 5 chunks). When stepped in or stepped in, you will be poisoned after a 1 second delay. There is no use for it yet.
Soulbloom
Spawns kinda rarely in soul sand valleys in patches(like 8 patches per biome from what i've seen). Gives 2 soulberries when broken and will sometimes burn up when placed.
Items
Totem Stick
Made with 2 sticks and a wooden totem. Can be used to heal yourself for the cost of durability. Hit undead mobs to burn them, every hit adds an extra second to the burning.
Soulberry
Dropped from soulblooms and edible. Gives alot of saturation but isn't too filling. When eaten it will give you more maximum health and very rarely xp but also sometimes give the dualsoul effect. Crafted with soul sand or soil it can become plantable or three berries and a bottle can be crafted into a xp bottle.
Soulberry pie
Made like a pumpkin pie but without the pumpkin and with three soulberries and soulsand. It gives even more maximum health and saturation than the soulberry and rarely even more xp but sometimes also a longer duration of dualsoul.
Warped Stew
Made with a brown mushroom, warped fungus and of course a bowl. A pretty well rounded food with 3.5 hamsticks and quite a bit of saturation. Always gives nausea but also always picks one of 5 other "better" effects to give, like resistance, invisibility, night vision and 2 others.
Crimson Stew
Made with a red mushroom, crimson fungus and as you would guess, a bowl. Same as the Warped stew with 3.5 hamsticks and quite a bit of saturation. Always gives the Fractured effect but also always picks one of 5 other "better" effects to give, like fire resistance, haste, speed and 2 others.
Effects
DualSoul Effect
Sometimes gotten from eating soul food. Another soul is inside you and will make you move in random directions, sprint, and sneak randomly when this effect is applied. Might be useful in some scenarios.
Fractured Effect
Given from eating Crimson Soup, makes the effected mob or usually player take extra damage from any damage they take so a half a heart of damage would do like 3 hearts if the level was high enough. It also pierces through armour, inspired by the piglin's brutish behavior.
Other
Cobblestone Generation
Cobblestone generates in stone areas. I don't really know if I like this, i might delete later.
