v 0.16.0: The Explosive Update
Additions:
- Placeable Gunpowder. Acts pretty much like the one from TmTravlr's mod from which it was ported. In addition it also lights up block like campfire and sconces as well as being lit up by other fire emitting blocks like lava and magma blocks.
- Slingshots, a useful tool that can be used to place blocks at a distance. Can also be enchanted for additional effects
- Feather block, a storage block that is fluffy to the touch. Step on it and you'll slowly fall in it like on a cushion. It also emits feather particles when fallen upon and prevents all fall damage
- Flint block, a new storage blocks that can be use to decorate your builds
- Red Merchant, a rare wandering trader like traveling merchant that likes to appear more frequently the more you progress through your game. He sells an assortment of explosion related items
- Wild flax now rarely generates on desert shores
- Blue Bomb, an extremely powerful ranged weapon that servers as a counterpart to the enchanted golden apple. It provides a massive non block breaking explosion that also inflicts burning and weakness effect. Just like apples you'll be able to find blue and normal bombs scattered in some loot tables. For examples you'll be able to find them frequently in jungle temples chests
- Added a new painting
Tweaks and Improvements:
- Improved flower boxes: they now use a much faster renderer, are shaded correctly and support has been added for all Quarks potted plants
- Unified jar and cage items so they no longer use two ids for full and empty. Old items will automatically convert when picked up.
- Added config to allow cages and jars to automatically detect and whitelist any entity small enough.
- Added some other misc configs.
- Cages and jars are now placeable only by shift clicking to allow more easy mob catching
- Dispensers can now shoot any tagged modded brick
- Added a config to allow placing timber framing directly on a block via shift clicking
- Added new Netherite door and trapdoor textures
- Bellows are now the first block to take advantage of Flywheel tile entity rendering instancing. Requires Flywheel mod of course
- Hanging flower pots now work with modded flower pots
- Zombie horses can now be ridden underwater
- Tweaked some flag textures and added many new modded ones. Thanks to WenXin2
- Added new translations and updated old ones
- Foxes and bats will now sleep while in cages
- Cleaned up texture folder
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where passengers weren't being dismounted when caged
- Fixed a bug where pulley was duplicating blocks
- Fixed some translations not working
- Fixed sign posts throwing up errors with optifine
- Fixed some loot tables and recipes
- Fixed not being able to interact with modded blocks such as create contraptions filters when holding custom placeable blocks like sticks
