Industrial Foregoing has changed a little bit in this version, the mod has a decent progression now with a new crafting mechanic called "Dissolution Chamber" that will make more use of the fluids of the mod to craft things. Some machines that didn't use power before now can use power to speed up their process like the "Fluid Extractor"(You can check if the power is optional by looking at the item tooltip). The side config has improved, now machines can pull and push items and fluids by default.
Everything is structured in different modules (Core, Tools, Transport, Generators, Agriculture & Husbandry, Resource Production). With that change you can disable modules from the config entirely or just disable one thing at a time.
